Threaded Tales
As a child, my grandmother would recite countless fables to me—stories that shaped my imagination and understanding of the world. Now that she is no longer with us, I want to keep those tales alive. Using textiles as my medium, I have transformed these narratives into a tactile fabric book, preserving both her stories and the essence of traditional fables.
This project explores the timeless nature of storytelling, ensuring these fables continue to be passed down to younger generations. The raised, tactile text allows children to engage with the stories through touch, making the book especially accessible for those with ADHD and dyslexia.
